SQUARE BRIDGE FLETCHER

The Fletcher class was the largest class of destroyers built by any nation during WW 2. Succeeding the first 58 ships built with the round bridge, there were 117 ships with the square bridge. This booklet describes them in details, showing the alterations and armament modifications brought following the experience of war. The photos are high quality ones, extracted from the US archives.
