EDITORIAL

A fireworks of novelties.
In this issue, you will find in this issue an unpublished article on the operations of the two Yugoslav hunting and assault squadrons engaged by the RAF on the western front. 1944 and 1945; A photographic chronicle of the devices used by CEPA until 1940; Following the exploits of the Grumman F6F Hellcat during the "pigeon shooting" of the Mariana; The state of the Japanese imperial army's hunting in 1941; The biography, written especially for AVIONS, from the ace to the 14 victories Gilbert Sardier - the youngest squadron leader of France in 1918 -; Also the career of a Luftwaffe pilot called "servitude", who will show you the reverse side of the frontline units on the eastern front and in the Mediterranean; Finally, a news article, still unpublished, about the operations of the strange MV-22 Osprey in Afghanistan.
Be aware, however, that the profiles and plans to illustrate the continuing history of the Caudron Rafale have fallen behind; We are therefore obliged to shift the second part, devoted to Caudron C.530, which will appear only in our No. 220.

I am pleased to inform you that LELA Presse will be releasing no less than three new books which will definitely make sense: Volume 1 of the Jagdgeschwader 54 (very awaited!), Volume 1 of the Lehrgeschwader 1, as well as a magnificent monograph of the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter, the "flying rocket" that was so inked ... In reality, I should say five pounds and not three, for at about the same time will appear The two volumes retracing the history of the French navy during the Great War.

Have a good reading and most of all, good back to everyone!

Christophe Cony
